Their are many types of flexible pipe connectors and expansion joints produced by Mason Industries. They can be broadly catergorised into three groups; Super Flex, Safe Flex and stainless steel flexible pipe connectors.

Types of Flexible Pipe Connectors
Safe Flex Pipe Connectors
These connectors are not wire reinforced; they are constructed of multiple plies of Kevlar tire cord and EPDM in a manufacturing process very similar to the manufacture of truck tires. This construction enables these connectors to breathe volumetrically and to be rated for maximum elongation so control rods are not necessary.
Stainless steel connectors are used where movement is required between two pipes or pieces of equipment. This could be due to building or pipe expansion/contractionor to allow movement of mechanical equipment.
Super-Flex expansion joints were designed after years of application experience. Manufactured using heated hydraulic presses and moulds resulted in high operating pressures with great safety factors. Good carcass reinforcing, excellent aging & temperature resistance.
