Victoria Square - Belfast
We installed approximately 1000 square metres of our Jack-Up floating system on the roof of the new shopping complex in central Belfast in December 2006.
The floating floor was 150mm thick and was jacked 100mm to provide high noise separation for the mechanical and electrical plant on the roof from cinemas and occupied space below.
The floor was designed to carry heavy plant loads and in some cases over 20 tons. The floating floor was sloped to aid water drainage.
