Design Services

Mason UK offers a complete in-house design and consultancy service. Our engineers use the latest CAD system to create bespoke designs for acoustic floors and other acoustic isolation systems.

Mason UK have a suite of empirical test results available, so we are fully versed in the performance characteristics of our products. We can help design solutions to suit both structural and acoustic requirements.

Our design team are also experienced in the application and installation of our product range. This knowledge has proven invaluable when designing practicable solutions which are not only technically correct but realistic to implement.

Mason UK welcomes discussion with all members of the project teams, including Acoustic Consultants, Structural Engineers, Architects and Quantity Surveyors to ensure we present the best possible solution. We are happy to be involved at any stage of the project from the initial concept of a new build through to retrospectively solving problems in existing builds.

Associated Products

Anti-Vibration Rubber Mounts & Pads

Anti-vibration mounts & pads supplied by Mason U.K. are manufactured from high quality bridge-bearing neoprene or L.D.S rubber. Both materials are certified to meet or exceed applicable standards.

New Products

This is the Mason UK Ltd new products page. Below you can find new products created by us or Mason Industries.

Structural Isolation Bearings

Building isolation bearings are used to isolate entire buildings or elements such as walls, floor plates, or columns. Bearings are normally bespoke, designed to accept the specific loads and have the correct isolation characteristics.

Rubber Expansion Joints

There are many types of flexible pipe connectors and expansion joints produced by Mason Industries. This page gives a brief overview with links to more specific product details.

Air Springs

Air Springs are typically used to isolate equipment that is very sensitive to vibration. They provide very high levels of isolation, can reach very low natural frequencies and are essentially resonance free. They would typically be used in research and medical facilities.

Spring Mounted Inertia Bases

Inertia bases, used in conjunction with the right acoustic isolation system, are the most effective anti-vibration technique for machinery. They can vary from a simple steel frame which allows spring mounts to connect to the equipment, to large concrete filled frames to provide inertial mass.

Spring Hangers

Mason U.K. has a large range of spring hangers available to suit a wide variety of loads and acoustic requirements.

Concrete Floating Floors

Floating floors systems are used for many purposes, predominantly to prevent noise passing through the floor but also to isolate against vibration and impact.

L.D.S Rubber Hangers

Acoustic, LDS (Low Dynamic Stiffness) rubber (previously neoprene) hangers can be used for suspending ceilings or mechanical plant.
