Isolation Hangers

Acoustic isolation hangers are an excellent way of preventing airborne noise from below passing into the building structure, or preventing noise/vibration from the floor above entering the room below.

The correct selection of the acoustic isolation hanger is essential. Mason UK has a very large range available, to suit a variety of applications and noise/vibration isolation requirements. We can help you find the most effective solution for your project.

We stock a large range of acoustic ceiling hangers for multiple ceiling constructions and weights. Our hangers can be used with such systems and a MF grid system, unistrut, joist ceiling constructions and other systems. Both rubber and spring hangers are available. They both possess different performance characteristics in deflection and natural frequency.

See below for examples of acoustic ceiling hanger installations:

Our isolation hangers can also be used to support and isolate mechanical equipment such as fans and ceiling mounted air conditioning units, and ancillaries such as pipework, ducting, electrical wiring and more.

See example applications below:

Acoustic Rubber / Spring Hangers

There are two main groups of acoustic hangers; LDS rubber hangers and spring hangers. They both have properties that make them suited to certain types of acoustic/vibration, noise control. Rubber is suited for higher frequencies and spring is best for lower frequencies of noise; such as impact vibration or vibrating plant. Scroll down and click to learn more.
